Stoneware bellarmine jar (collection)


Witch bottle, textile, pin, Post-medieval bellarmine bottle containing heart-shaped piece of cloth pierced by pins, found under the threshold of the Plough Inn, King Street, King's Lynn. Stoneware bellarmine jar; with mask on neck and a flower medallion to body, coated with a bright brown glaze; probably made about 1625-1675.
